David Feldman Comedy

Greg Giraldo passed away today. He was a terrific comedian, a friend, and genuinely sweet guy. The last time I saw Greg was when we were working on the Hoff roast. Greg went to Columbia undergad and Harvard law, and as the years went by I forgot how brilliant he was. I mean, I knew he was brilliant as a comedian, and whenever I worked on the CC roasts all the writers marveled at his material and at how he wrote jokes that a room filled with writers completely missed. But I forgot that he had a photographic memory, the kind of brain that allows you to phone it in at Harvard Law School.
